They provide supervision, support, competency assessment, formal and informal education and training to all staff in the ICU/CCU to promote and maintain high quality, safe, patient care within the ICU/CCU. The ICU CCU comprises a 10-bed medical/surgical ICU/HDU and a 6 bed non-interventional CCU providing care for approximately 1500 patients per year.
