Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurses to join the Mental Health Nursing Education and Workforce Development Team. We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator with drive and passion to support our Early Career Nurses in their growth and development and contribute to the professional development of the wider workforce. About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About Mental Health Division: Northern Health is the third largest mental health service in Victoria Northern. Within the Mental Health Division, we pride ourselves on providing high quality mental health services to people living in the northern regions of Melbourne, and work in a collaborative way with consumers and carers based on recovery principles. We aim to provide strong clinical leadership to support all staff in the provision of professional treatment and care by our integrated community teams, inpatient, and residential services. About the Role: The Mental Health Nursing Clinical Nurse Educator's (CNE) main focus will be supporting educational activities for early career mental health nurses including RN’s, EN’s and RUSON’s. The role works closely with and supports the Education and Workforce Development Program Coordinators for the Graduate, Post Graduate, Transition to Mental Health Nursing (RN & EN) and RUSON Programs and existing educational roles in mental health settings where early career nurses are placed. The CNE also contributes to other educational activities across the Mental Health Division. Please refer to the PD for a more comprehensive description of the role. The position will primarily be based in Broadmeadows working across several sites but will also have commitments at other NH sites, e.g. Epping, Pascoe Vale.
