We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to lead and develop the team at Bethanie Waters Aged Care Home located in Port Kennedy , ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, in a permanent full-time role . Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Waters is one of our larger sites with 160 beds and provides support for people who need 24 hour care, including those with high care needs and dementia As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a key member of the facility management team, and vital to enhancing our residents’ experiences. You will coordinate and deliver resident care in collaboration with other health professionals while ensuring efficient use of organisational resources. You genuinely care about your team and enriching the ageing experience for your residents. Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Relevant post graduate qualification to the level of postgraduate diploma or above Ability to work independently and professionally Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systems Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one) The Role Provide leadership and supervision for the clinical team to ensure care meets our residents’ expectations Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care that is customer focused and in accordance with all standards and legislation Assess competency of all clinical employees on an ongoing basis and allocate training or mentoring where necessary Establish professional relationships with all new and existing residents and their families to ensure the clinical team provide customer focused care Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and / or allied health staff Working with Bethanie Many of us work because we want to make a difference.
