- Platform and Architecture Leadership
- Act as the design authority for infrastructure, security, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud migrations.
- Enhance platform-level developer experience across application stacks.
- Operational Excellence
- Lead ZeroOps initiatives, integrating platforms with tools like ServiceNow for efficient operations.
- Implement advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary) for robust and efficient release cycles.
- Monitoring and Metrics
- Collaborate with partners to establish comprehensive metrics systems to monitor and improve system performance.
- Cost Optimisation and FinOps
- Drive continuous cost optimization initiatives.
- Design and enforce FinOps processes to maximize resource utilization effectively.
- Developer Collaboration and Onboarding
- Work closely with developers to facilitate smooth application onboarding processes.
- Address scalability and security challenges in production environments.
- Vendor and Enterprise Collaboration
- Engage with tool vendors to enhance performance and utilization of platform tools.
- Partner with Enterprise Architects to standardize design patterns and development methodologies.
- Knowledge Sharing and Inner Source Contribution
- Contribute to inner-source projects, promoting standardized internal development practices.
- Deliver training sessions to elevate team competencies and encourage self-reliance.
Key Skills and Attributes Required
- Deep expertise in platform and cloud architecture (especially AWS).
- Strong experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of ZeroOps, FinOps, and related operational frameworks.
- Familiarity with scalability, security best practices, and developer tooling.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Excellent communication and training capabilities.
