Role Disaster Recovery Lead.
Skill set: This position is responsible for managing 24/7 data center and security operations through outsourced service providers. Data center services are comprised of onpremises colocated hosted and cloudprovided services. This position must handle and respond to urgent events when they occur and manage data center vendors and partners for 24/7 operational continuity of the technology infrastructure and the services delivered over it. Uses metrics to drive improvements in monitoring detection reporting and resolution of issues and is the service owner for incident and problem management processes related to DCDR. Delivers value back to the business by meeting service level agreements and driving improvements in operationallevel agreements. Manage DCDR Audits and Ensure to close without any Noncompliance from Technology and process perspective. Hands on experience on DC Projects DC Operations Disaster Recovery Backup and Restoration Vendor coordination SLA and uptime adherence.
Job Role & Responsibility: Owner for IT disaster recovery. Responsible for the planning setup rollout testing and maintain the IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery policies and plans. Managing complete endtoend IT DR drill management. Responsible for reviewing the outcome of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and aligned the Disaster Recovery framework strategy and plans to support business needs. Responsible for scheduling and leading all Disaster Recovery exercises ensuring the integrity of the disaster recovery procedures. Responsible to maintain a list of critical IT services and applications. Responsible for consulting with owners and support teams to define develop and manage disaster recovery plans. Work with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Governance Group and project stakeholders to test core IT systems services and review ITDR policy and guidelines. Responsible for preparing various pre and post reports like checklist runbook communication documents DR drill report etc.. to management for the IT DR drill. Responsible to identify IT business continuity risks and potential impacts with respect to datacenter and close the same. Performing tasks regarding risk analysis in databases and at each vulnerable point in the system. Responsible for reporting management about the ITDR calendar incorporating the activities designed to monitor the effectiveness of the DaytoDay readiness and amplify the operation of DR which include the Infra and Applications tasks. Tracking the progress of activities in the ITDR risk register preparing RCA of failed DR drills and updating action register with the periodic review and other required documentation. Identifying and make recommendations on improvement of existing processes and procedures. Evaluating all necessary changes in hardware and software for their risk of data loss loss of system integrity and impact on current disaster recovery projects. Responsible to face regulatory internal external statutory and concurrent audits. Responsible to target zero tolerance for audits and compliance Responsible for evaluating implementing Operating and maintaining DR automation tool. Responsible for the daily weekly and monthly backups Maintaining the restoration calendar Offsite tape movement SOPs and restoration drill. Responsible for managing the first line of crisis management for the IT department Responsible to visit and get audited at the vendor site periodically for compliance. Responsible for presenting ITDR status in IT and BCM strategy committees. Responsible for Datacenter operation change management migration and modernization. Working knowledge on Windows Linux and virtualization Working knowledge on Cloud and disaster recovery. Working knowledge on AD & Office 365 Working knowledge on SQL and Oracle databases. ISO 27001 knowledge and own for audit and compliance standard awareness and implementation of same. Vendor coordination and Management Documentation of Services Coordination with other teams.
Must to Have: Good experience on Implementation and day to day operation of DR automation tool. Experience in facing and end to end closure of various IT related audits. Certification on Disaster Recovery. Good communication skills and ability to work with management customers and vendors. Good people skills and must have ability to work as part of larger team. Ability to perform according to the expectations of Senior Management. Able to prioritize requirements and accordingly take necessary actions. Understanding of Matrix based organization and delivery models. Should not have any restrictions and reservations in terms of workrelated requirements and willing to travel as and when required. Good experience on datacenter and disaster recovery technologies.
