IT Infra Team Lead DR ops

Skillset: This position is responsible formanaging 24/7 data center and security operations throughoutsourced service providers. Data centerservices are comprised of onpremises colocated hosted andcloudprovided services. This position musthandle and respond to urgent events when they occur and manage datacenter vendors and partners for 24/7 operational continuity of thetechnology infrastructure and the services delivered over it. Uses metrics to drive improvements inmonitoring detection reporting and resolution of issues and is theservice owner for incident and problem management processes relatedto DCDR. Delivers value back to thebusiness by meeting service level agreements and drivingimprovements in operationallevel agreements.Manage DCDR Audits and Ensure to close without any Noncompliancefrom Technology and process perspective. Hands on experience on DC Projects DC Operations Disaster RecoveryBackup and Restoration Vendor coordination SLA and uptimeadherence.
JobRole & Responsibility: Owner for ITdisaster recovery. Responsible for theplanning setup rollout testing and maintain the IT BusinessContinuity and Disaster Recovery policies and plans. Managing complete endtoend IT DR drillmanagement. Responsible for reviewing theoutcome of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and aligned the DisasterRecovery framework strategy and plans to support business needs. Responsible for scheduling and leading allDisaster Recovery exercises ensuring the integrity of the disasterrecovery procedures. Responsible tomaintain a list of critical IT services and applications. Responsible for consulting with owners andsupport teams to define develop and manage disaster recovery plans. Work with the Business ContinuityManagement (BCM) Governance Group and project stakeholders to testcore IT systems services and review ITDR policy and guidelines. Responsible for preparing various pre andpost reports like checklist runbook communication documents DRdrill report etc.. to management for the IT DR drill. Responsible to identify IT businesscontinuity risks and potential impacts with respect to datacenterand close the same. Performing tasksregarding risk analysis in databases and at each vulnerable pointin the system. Responsible for reportingmanagement about the ITDR calendar incorporating the activitiesdesigned to monitor the effectiveness of the DaytoDay readiness andamplify the operation of DR which include the Infra andApplications tasks. Tracking the progressof activities in the ITDR risk register preparing RCA of failed DRdrills and updating action register with the periodic review andother required documentation. Identifyingand make recommendations on improvement of existing processes andprocedures. Evaluating all necessarychanges in hardware and software for their risk of data loss lossof system integrity and impact on current disaster recoveryprojects. Responsible to face regulatoryinternal external statutory and concurrent audits. Responsible to target zero tolerance foraudits and compliance Responsible forevaluating implementing Operating and maintaining DR automationtool. Responsible for the daily weekly andmonthly backups Maintaining the restoration calendar Offsite tapemovement SOPs and restoration drill. Responsible for managing the first line of crisis management forthe IT department Responsible to visit andget audited at the vendor site periodically for compliance. Responsible for presenting ITDR status inIT and BCM strategy committees. Responsiblefor Datacenter operation change management migration andmodernization. Working knowledge on WindowsLinux and virtualization Working knowledgeon Cloud and disaster recovery. Workingknowledge on AD & Office 365 Workingknowledge on SQL and Oracle databases. ISO27001 knowledge and own for audit and compliance standard awarenessand implementation of same. Vendorcoordination and Management Documentation of Services Coordinationwith other teams.
Must toHave: Good experience on Implementation andday to day operation of DR automation tool.Experience in facing and end to end closure of various IT relatedaudits. Certification on DisasterRecovery. Good communication skills andability to work with management customers andvendors. Good people skills and must haveability to work as part of larger team. Ability to perform according to the expectations of SeniorManagement. Able to prioritize requirementsand accordingly take necessary actions. Understanding of Matrix based organization and deliverymodels. Should not have any restrictions andreservations in terms of workrelated requirements and willing totravel as and when required. Goodexperience on datacenter and disaster recovery technologies.
