About the Role
Shandilyam Enterprises LLP is seeking skilled Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical & MEP) to be deputed to one of our reputed central government clients. This role involves working on critical infrastructure and construction projects across India, ensuring high-quality execution, compliance with standards, and timely project completion.
Candidates should have a strong technical background in civil, electrical, or MEP engineering, with the ability to oversee site operations, manage contractors, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory norms. The selected candidates must be willing to relocate anywhere in India, as the project locations will vary.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Supervision
Oversee the execution of civil, electrical, and MEP works as per approved designs, drawings, and project specifications.
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality standards, material usage, and adherence to timelines.
Monitor and manage work progress, ensuring smooth coordination among different teams and contractors.
Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruptions to the project schedule.
Coordination & Compliance
Collaborate with government officials, contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines as per government norms.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and compliance checklists.
Assist in preparing and reviewing technical reports, BOQs, and other project-related documents.
Testing & Quality Control
Conduct on-site tests for materials and work quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Identify defects and recommend corrective actions to improve construction quality.
Ensure proper installation and functioning of electrical and MEP systems in line with specifications.
Project Planning & Resource Management
Assist in scheduling work, managing manpower, and optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Support senior engineers and project managers in planning, budgeting, and forecasting project requirements.
Track material inventory, procurement needs, and logistics to avoid project delays.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
For Civil Engineer
Education:
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience:
3–10 years of experience in civil construction, infrastructure projects, or government contracts.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of building construction, roadworks, bridges, and structural engineering principles .
Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, and other civil engineering software .
Understanding of surveying, quantity estimation, material specifications, and site execution .
Familiarity with IS codes, construction safety norms, and quality control standards .
Experience in managing earthworks, concrete structures, steel fabrication, and reinforcement detailing .
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective coordination with contractors, architects, and government agencies .
Ability to work in remote project locations and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
For Electrical Engineer
Education:
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience:
3–10 years of experience in power distribution, electrical installations, or MEP projects .
Technical Skills:
Expertise in electrical load calculations, wiring, switchgear, transformers, and panel board installations .
Hands-on experience with HV/LV power distribution systems, substation work, and DG sets .
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, and other electrical design software .
Familiarity with BIS standards, electrical safety regulations, and government guidelines .
Ability to conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification on-site .
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex electrical systems .
Effective communication and collaboration with contractors, vendors, and site teams .
Willingness to relocate and work in a dynamic project environment .
For MEP Engineer
Education:
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering .
Experience:
3–10 years of experience in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, or building management systems (BMS) .
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of MEP system design, installation, and coordination in large-scale projects .
Hands-on experience with HVAC ducting, chillers, ventilation systems, and firefighting equipment .
Familiarity with plumbing layouts, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems .
Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and other design tools .
Understanding of international and national MEP codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC, IS standards, etc.) .
Ability to conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems .
Soft Skills:
Strong coordination skills to work with architects, civil engineers, and electrical teams .
Ability to handle multiple MEP trades and ensure seamless integration with the overall project.
Willingness to relocate and adapt to diverse project environments .
