Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Accountant for a full-time position at our Tiruppur location. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in the accounting field. This position is crucial for maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and complex calculations. Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks to manage financial transactions effectively. Familiarity with SAP ERP and Oracle Financials for seamless integration of accounting activities. Skilled in data analysis to interpret financial data and provide insights for decision-making. Tax Compliance (Mandatory skill) ensuring all accounting activities conform to statutory regulations. Financial Reporting (Mandatory skill) is essential for preparing accurate financial statements and reports. GAAP Knowledge (Mandatory skill) required for upholding proper accounting principles and standards. A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and reports. Roles and Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Ensure tax compliance by adhering to jurisdiction-specific accounting standards and regulations. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting based on past financial data and market trends. Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain the accuracy of financial statements. Conduct audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulations. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audit processes and implement feedback. Continuously update skills and knowledge in accounting to remain proficient with current financial practices.
