What is this role all about?
We are looking for a Community Builder to help us develop and maintain an active
community by identifying the right opportunities to form beneficial connections and
relationships with HORECA/ F&B businesses, bartenders, mixologists, beverage
consultants, baristas, coffee roasters, restaurant owners etc.
You will be in charge of developing and implementing the company’s
engagement strategy, spearheading the discussions in relevant groups and
forums, scheduling interviews and podcasts, if any. Leveraging social media
through collaborations with others to position our company as thought leaders in
the F & B Industry. You’ll also be responsible for organizing virtual and physical
events to help us build and maintain relationships with the community.
A perfect candidate is adept at networking, knows how to interact with stakeholders,
and is able to keep high levels of engagement within our community as well as
stimulate its growth to attract new community members using the appropriate content,
live video panels, and other methods.
Role and responsibilities:
● Develop and execute creative engagement tactics and strategies with the identified
target audience
● Build and nurture relationships, collaborate with potential partners and Brands to
establish Swa’s Brand Positioning
● Identify, plan and execute trade events and networking events; Promote and
organize virtual and physical events
● Facilitate direct communication with target groups using effective channels, online,
social media, offline through events etc
● Influencer marketing via various collaborations with not just people but other
Brands too
● Work with our marketing and PR teams to assist with the implementation of
programs, activities, and other initiatives that contribute to growing a community
and raising awareness of our brand
● Social Media Content Marketing - to plan and execute with the larger team.
Requirements
● 3+ years of experience in community development and outreach (experience in
beverage/restaurant/f&b sector is preferred)
● Ability to identify, analyze, develop, and maintain partnerships that benefit the
community and company
● Outstanding communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Journalism, Sociology, Psychology, or
related field
