About The Role

We are looking for a highly driven Project Manager to lead client-facing software projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. You'll also play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and planning for new projects in the pipeline. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of SDLC, agile methodologies, and the ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant domains. A flair for product research and client-focused innovation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. For Projects in Sales Pipeline
  • Participate in early discovery calls with clients to understand scope and expectations
  • Translate vague ideas or business problems into high-level technical requirements
  • Prepare effort estimations, risk identification, and team sizing inputs for proposals
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to define project strategies and delivery models
  • Support hiring of developers, QAs, and designers required for upcoming projects
2. New Project Onboarding
  • Define and document initial delivery plan, milestones, and communication protocol
  • Set up project tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.) and workflows
  • Coordinate with HR and technical leads for seamless team onboarding
  • Conduct kick-off meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Lead functional understanding sessions and ensure alignment on scope and expectations
3. Project Execution & Management
  • Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Own project timelines, scope, cost, quality , and change management
  • Run Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Track tasks, team velocity, and sprint health using tools like Jira or ClickUp
  • Proactively manage risks, blockers, and escalations
  • Review deliverables and manage UAT and production deployments
  • Ensure proper documentation (SOWs, MOMs, delivery notes, change logs)
  • Support project-specific hiring needs and team scaling decisions

Must Have Skills

  • 4+ years of end-to-end project management experience in IT/software services
  • Excellent client communication and stakeholder management
  • Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple parallel projects
  • Hands-on with task tracking tools: Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar
  • Solid leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities

Good To Have

  • Technical background or prior experience in coding, QA, or system architecture
  • Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS systems , cloud platforms, and APIs
  • Exposure to AWS, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications
  • Experience acting as a domain SME or working in a specialized business vertical (e.g., logistics, HRTech, GRC)
  • Interest in product research , user behavior, competitive benchmarking, and MVP scoping
