Principal Data Informatics Developer

Blackbaud, a SaaS solution provider that powers Social Good through software, services, expertise, and data intelligence, is seeking a Principal Data Informatics Developer who has a passion for data and an obsession for delivering high quality solutions and value to customers. You will provide thought leadership and expertise as part of a team focused on delivering quantifiable value into our business via data modeling, data automations, and data applications. Your efforts will align with and enhance activities in our data governance, data engineering, and data science pillars and directly impact the highest priority projects at Blackbaud.
What you’ll doEstablish development standards for data models, dashboards, and reports in Qlik SenseDevelop data models, dashboards, and reports in Qlik SenseProvide thought leadership regarding security, design, and execution of data integrations via QVD creationDevelop data integrations through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources for QVD file creationSet a high standard for user experience across all Qlik applications at BlackbaudDesign, develop, and deploy Qlik Sense applications leveraging front-end development and visualization best practicesAct as data informatics thought leader across critical business processes and projectsPartner with SMEs to interpret requirements and deliver insights into critical business processesLead the creation and evolution of Qlik Sense best practicesMentor and support more junior Qlik developers, both inside of team and across collaborative developer communityTranslate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designsCreate and maintain technical documentation
What you’ll bring8 years of experience as a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse professional or Qlik Sense Developer (MS1)Expert in concepts and techniques of Business Intelligence and Data WarehousingExtensive experience ramping into and learning diverse operational teams and processesExperience leading large to extra-large size projects with ownership of project from conception to operationalizationAdvanced skills in Qlik Sense web integration, advanced SQL knowledge, SQL scripting, nested selection, stored procedures, task triggers, analytic functions, tuning etc.Expert in database design and SQL skills. Experienced in RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field preferredA strong analytical and logical mindsetOutstanding communication skills (verbal/written) to both technical and non-technical audiences
