Mentor – Robotics & Coding Explorers Program

Educational Qualifications

Preferred: B.Tech / B.E. (Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, or related fields) OR M.Sc. (Robotics, AI, Computer Science)

Acceptable (Junior Levels): Graduate in Science/Engineering with certifications in Robotics, Coding, or STEM Education / Trained school teachers with coding/robotics upskilling


Technical Skills

Robotics & Electronics

*Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, DIY Robotics Kits

*Understanding of sensors (Ultrasonic, IR, Light) & actuators (motors, drivers)

Coding & AI

*Scratch, , and block-based programming for younger students

*Python basics for middle & high school learners

*Exposure to Code.X or similar AI/coding platforms

STEM Tools

Proficient in laptops, tablets, and online coding platforms

Hands-on guidance for student projects


Teaching & Mentoring Skills

Simplifying complex concepts for grades 3–10

*Experience with project-based & experiential learning

*Patience in handling mixed-age classrooms

* Creative use of real-life examples to explain robotics & AI.

* Storytelling ability to make coding fun & engaging.


Relevant Experience

* 1–2 years teaching coding/robotics/STEM to children

* Internship/roles in STEM education companies (Tinkerly, STEMROBO, Avishkaar, Lego Education, etc.)

*Portfolio of student projects / showcases

*Experience in hackathons, coding clubs, or maker workshops (preferred)


Additional Soft Skills

*Awareness of child psychology & ECCE-friendly practices

*Collaboration & teamwork facilitation for group projects

* Empathetic, motivational, and positive teaching approach

* Constructive feedback & student encouragement.


Optional Certifications (Good-to-Have)

ISTE Certification / Scratch Educator Certification / Certified Educator

Coursera/EdX Certifications (AI for Kids, Robotics for Education, Python, etc.)

Training in 21st Century Teaching Skills (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication)

Salary: ₹500 per hour

Job Type: Part-time / Hourly Basis
