We are looking for a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and support our database environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and cloud-based monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Oracle database schemas ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Perform backup & recovery operations using RMAN, Data Pump, and other tools.
  • Conduct performance tuning leveraging AWR, ASH, and other diagnostics.
  • Develop and optimize SQL & PL/SQL scripts and procedures.
  • Handle instance provisioning, licensing, configuration, right sizing, and instance class management.
  • Configure and manage parameter & option groups for database performance and reliability.
  • Implement monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Datadog-Enhanced, or equivalent tools.
  • Manage Multi-AZ deployments, read replicas, backups, and storage for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with security, licensing, and governance policies.
  • Provide on-call support and collaborate with cross-functional teams for database-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of 6- 8 years with Oracle DBA with strong hands-on administration skills.
  • Expertise in Schema Management, RMAN, Data Pump, AWR, ASH.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL development and debugging.
  • Experience with cloud database monitoring and automation tools (CloudWatch, Datadog).
  • Familiarity with Multi-AZ architecture, replication, backups, and storage management.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to AWS RDS for Oracle or other cloud-managed Oracle DB services.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell/Python) for DBA tasks.
  • Experience with database security and compliance practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹100, ₹140,000.00 per month
