Job Description:
As the Assistant Manager - Corporate Development at Buddy Deals, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities that align with our long-term goals. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth initiatives. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential opportunities and align them with business objectives.
- Prepare detailed business cases, presentations, and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors, including legal, financial, and technical experts.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure seamless transitions and value realization.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience with M&A processes, including due diligence, negotiation, and integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade senior stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the e-commerce industry is a plus.
