Lead Analyst Product - Information Technology
You enjoy product development and you’re good at problem solving. In this this role you will directly support our Managed Transportation division while serving as a subject matter expert of providing real time solutions as it relates to IT architecture, hardware and software needs, and preexisting operating systems. Leading tech and test team for implementation and testing from product team’s end for upgrades in the system.
As a Lead Analyst Product you will be responsible for analyzing system functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. You will also be given the opportunity to design solutions for business processes to help drive revenue growth for various customer projects.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- solution development, write-ups, costing models and analysis.
- as a product expert to assist our Managed Transportation division’s sales team with new pursuits.
- timeliness and quality of documentation concerning IT solutions and capabilities.
- and perpetually enhance technology solution and product marketing material. Develop all solution documents required for the project, all Standard Technology solution slides, and all solution costing models.
- as the central point of contact for cross-functional and cross-system activities, including but not limited to acting as a knowledge center of current solutions, ongoing implementations, support functions, resource information and technical capabilities.
- development of strategic business solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
- near-term needs, utilizing market evaluation, analysis of technical trends and competitor evaluation; consult with technical subject matter experts and develop alternative technical solutions; advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
- primary NAT Managed Transportation’s IT representation for contacts with functional business units; provide primary subject matter expertise for contacts (presentations, meetings, demonstrations and written responses) related to new or extended business opportunities; resolve (or manage to resolution) all technology-related issues for new business opportunities.
- strategic consultancy support to assigned customers (sales, account management, groupings, and verticals) in defining/designing business processes and researching and identifying enabling technologies based on customer requirements.
What you need to succeed at RXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- degree in business, MIS, supply chain or operations management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- years of cross functional business experience including IT business systems analysis, business process re-engineering, development and implementation of large-scale systems, technical project management, sales support, and customer relationships.
- range of network and desktop knowledge, including experience with MS Office Suite. · Knowledge of IT systems development lifecycle, system design techniques, system integration technologies, and enterprise resource planning.
- written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal senior management.
- of 3rd party logistics, freight and supply chain functions will be beneficial for the role.
- to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people.
