Newgen Business Analyst


Job Title: Business Analyst - Newgen Product Portfolio and other Application Evaluation ( evaluation , Implementation and Run phase )

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of the Newgen product portfolio and experience in evaluating and managing applications throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing business needs, evaluating software solutions, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of Familiarize yourself with the Newgen product portfolio, including business process management (BPM), enterprise content management (ECM), customer communication management (CCM), and workflow automation solutions.

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of software applications, including Newgen products, as well as other available solutions in the market.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and management, to gather requirements and understand business processes.

- Analyse business requirements and propose suitable software solutions, considering both Newgen products and alternative options.

- Prepare and present detailed reports, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and recommendations for application selection.

- Assist in the implementation and configuration of chosen software applications, ensuring they align with business requirements.

- Collaborate with development teams to define specifications, customize applications, and integrate them with existing systems.

- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to refine and improve applications.

- Provide training and support to end users during the transition from evaluation to the run phase.

- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of applications post-implementation and address any issues or enhancements as Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on evaluating software applications and working with Newgen products.

- Strong understanding of business process management, enterprise content management, and workflow automation concepts.

- Proven experience in conducting software evaluations, including market research, requirements gathering, and solution analysis.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Experience in software implementation, configuration, and post-implementation support is a plus.

- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or related fields is desirable.
