Job Description: Product Analyst 


Role Definition:

As a Product Analyst at our startup specialising in Industrial furniture systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting our product management team. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about leveraging their technical expertise to contribute to the development and optimization of innovative products within the industrial furniture industry. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic startup environment while gaining hands-on experience in product analysis, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Data Analysis and Insights:

  - Utilize your technical background to perform data analysis and extract insights from various sources, including product performance data, customer feedback, and market research.

  - Conduct quantitative analysis to evaluate market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape within the industrial furniture industry, helping to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.


2. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  - Assist in conducting market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the functional furniture systems market.

  - Analyze competitor products, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics to inform our product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.


3. Product Development Support:

  - Collaborate with the product management team to gather requirements, define product specifications, and prioritize features for product development and enhancement.

  - Support the product roadmap planning process by providing data-driven insights and recommendations for feature prioritization and roadmap alignment with market needs.


4. Product Marketing Support:

  - Assist in developing marketing collateral, including product brochures, datasheets, and presentations, to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value proposition to customers and stakeholders.

  - Support product launches and promotional campaigns by providing market insights, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation data to inform marketing strategies and tactics.


5. User Experience and Feedback Analysis:

  - Participate in user research activities, usability testing sessions, and feedback gathering exercises to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points.

  - Analyze user feedback and usage patterns to identify opportunities for product improvement, optimization, and enhancement to enhance the overall user experience.


Qualifications:


- Educational degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or related field.

- Experience 0-1 year in a Product/ Business Analyst role

- Strong academic background with a focus on data analysis, statistics, and market research.

- Passion for innovation and a keen interest in the Industrial products, with a desire to contribute to the development of high-quality, industrial products.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for product development and marketing.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is a plus.

- Enthusiasm for learning and a growth mindset, with a willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our startup in the furniture industry.
