Job Summary

The Head of Corporate Relations will drive strategic partnerships and business development initiatives across India. This role requires an experienced leader with deep connections in the financial services sector, especially with Global Capability Centers (GCCs), and a strong track record in placements and B2B business deals. The ideal candidate should possess an extensive background in product development within the EdTech ecosystem and be capable of spearheading corporate relations for strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Partnerships : Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the financial services sector, particularly in Global Capability Centers (GCCs) across India, to drive business collaborations and secure placement opportunities.
  • Business Development : Identify and secure B2B deals that contribute to the growth of the organization's business. Lead negotiations and close agreements with corporates to enhance EdTech service offerings.
  • Placement Strategy : Drive the placement strategy by working closely with corporates and educational institutions. Collaborate with the placement and career services team to ensure students are matched with relevant career opportunities.
  • Product Development : Collaborate with the product development team to align the curriculum and offerings with industry needs, ensuring that the company's programs remain competitive and attractive to corporates.
  • Market Insights : Stay updated with market trends, especially within the financial services sector, and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure relevance and competitiveness.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the corporate relations team, setting objectives and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals. Drive performance and ensure effective execution of business plans.
  • Brand Representation : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to build brand visibility and secure potential partnerships.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven track record in business development within the EdTech sector, with a focus on financial services and corporate partnerships.
  • Established network of relationships with corporates, especially in Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
  • Extensive experience in placements , including working with clients in financial services space to secure internship and job opportunities.
  • Experience in product development and a strong understanding of how to align educational offerings with industry needs.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills .
  • Ability to work across geographies , with a Pan India scope.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development or corporate relations roles, preferably within the EdTech or financial services industry.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.
