Role & responsibilities

  1. Quality Planning & Implementation

  2. Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.

  3. Ensure all construction and engineering activities comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.

  4. Inspection & Testing

  5. Oversee material inspections, equipment testing, and site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and procedures.

  6. Coordinate with third-party laboratories, consultants, and vendors for quality checks and certifications.

  7. Monitoring & Documentation

  8. Conduct routine inspections of site activities and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where necessary.

  9. Maintain quality records, test certificates, calibration reports, and audit logs.

  10. Prepare and submit periodic QA/QC reports to management and clients.

  11. Audits & Compliance

  12. Plan and conduct internal quality audits and support external/client audits.

  13. Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively and on time.

  14. Team Leadership & Coordination

  15. Lead and mentor QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.

  16. Provide training and awareness sessions to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  17. Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.

  18. Risk & Continuous Improvement

  19. Identify potential quality risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  20. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
  21. Drive initiatives to reduce rework, wastage, and improve process efficiency.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, QA/QC software tools, and ERP systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, codes, and industry standards.
  • Experience in handling quality documentation, audits, and client interactions.
