Senior Manager/Manager Mechanical System Design Engineer

REQUIRMENTS:
o Must be experienced with design processes of Avionics, Navy and Army Systems
o Must have experienced in closely working with DGAQA/CEMILAC and different design and qualifying agencies.
o Must have experience of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, Pro Mechanical, CATIA or similar)
o Must have Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
o Must have experience in qualifying the system as per MIL STD and JSS55555.
o Must have experience to handle a team of design engineers.
o Must be experienced in Mathematical computing and analysis tools.
o Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
o Ability to communicate technical issues/concept clearly.
o Technical writing skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Owns the complete Mechanical design from concept to qualification.
o Perform a full lifecycle Mechanical development (Design, prototypes & manufacture)
o Creating the concept for new Mechanical design as per customer requirement, create assembly prints, mechanical drawings and fabrication specifications.
o Evaluate Costing of the mechanical Parts in term of Mechanics Hardware, Fabrication, Painting
o Material Selection for the Design and Development like Aluminium Alloy or Other lite material
o Perform Thermal Analysis of full design (Mechanical & Electronic Design)
o Perform Structural Analysis
o Perform Wire harnessing in CAD design (Pro-E -CREO)
o Revise and alter detailed and layout drawings to conform to engineering changes.
o Perform simulation for the mechanical parts developed.
o Develop the drawing for Painting.
o Modify designs to correct operating and production issues.
o Electronics parts Integration in the console
o Create the 2D Drawings for Manufacturing
o Meet with suppliers, clients and project stakeholders to review designs and alter as needed.
o Vendor development for new design for Machining / Sheet metal
o Guide and lead the mechanical design team
