Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technology Officer (STO) located in New Delhi, Noida & Greater Noida. The Senior Technology Officer will oversee various aspects of technology within an organisation. These may vary from technological strategies to cybersecurity, infrastructure, software development, data management, risk management and many other such tasks.
Responsibilities:
a. Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s technology roadmap aligned with the overall business strategy.
b. Product Development: Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software, ensuring that it meets business requirements, and is delivered on time and within budget.
c. Technical Architecture: Define and implement scalable and sustainable technical architectures to support current and future business needs.
d. Technology Stack Management: Evaluate, select, and manage technology platforms, frameworks, and tools that support the company’s objectives, and contribute to increased operational efficiency.
e. Implementation: Implementation and aligning of company to one software system. You will also be responsible for acting as an intermediary between our company and the SAAP team.
f. Collaboration: Collaborate with other executives and departments to align technology initiatives with business goals and priorities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related fields. Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a technology driven organization.
Extensive experience in software development, with a deep understanding of modern development methodologies and technologies.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate business objectives into technology solutions.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and managing complex technical projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills Required:
a. Strategic Thinking: Ability to envision and articulate a clear technology strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
b. Business Development: Developing new systems, models and different software, digital marketing, as well as keeping up to date with the latest technological advancements, along with its implementation.
c. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of innovation, and drive results.
d. Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and technologies, including but not limited to:
Programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++)
Cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Google Suite)
Database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
DevOps practices and tools
e. Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions, evaluate technology investments, and make strategic decisions that drive business value.
f. Project Management: Proficiency in managing complex technical projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
g. Innovation: Track record of driving innovation, staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends, and leveraging them to create competitive advantages.
h. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners.
i. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
j. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, technology trends, and market dynamics, and lead the organisation through periods of growth and transformation.
