Role Overview

As a Cultural & Linguistic Expert, you will blend cultural insight with analytical skills to refine datasets, evaluate AI outputs, and shape frameworks that capture humor, idioms, traditions, sensitivities, and social norms. Your contributions will directly influence how AI understands and represents diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and review culturally authentic texts, dialogues, idioms, and proverbs.
  • Design evaluation prompts for humor, taboos, sensitive topics, and cultural nuance.
  • Benchmark AI outputs for accuracy, tone, inclusivity, and cultural appropriateness.
  • Define and implement cultural evaluation frameworks & guidelines.
  • Enrich datasets with real-world cultural context while mitigating bias.

Requirements

  • Native speaker with deep lived experience in the target culture.
  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Sociolinguistics, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, or related fields.
  • Strong grasp of social norms, customs, traditions, history, and current events.
  • Proven professional experience in writing, journalism, education, translation, or community leadership.
  • Ability to represent diverse demographic perspectives.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Compensation (Independent Contractor – IC)

  • Cultural & Linguistic Expert: ₹1000 – ₹3000 per hour
