Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for overall control and management of O & M functions at the Plant. Responsible for ensuring that cost effective operations and infrastructure are in place to support the plant functions for various requirements related with the plant to facilitate arrange for all the

Contingency and requirement in advance to achieve their responsibilities.

2. Demonstrating strong Project Management skills including project scheduling and monitoring attached with structured inputs for purchase & procurement, contracts management, materials management, site management, cost rationalization and continuous improvement.

3.Responsible to prepare the policies in consultation with the managing daily operations, and planning for the optimum utilization of man and machineries at the Plant

4. Responsible to part in preparation and review of the MIS and shall ensure that MIS should reach on time. Responsibilities of the HOD/Supervisors and control their work schedule and assigning specific duties and target.

5. Responsible to perform as a Factory Manager under Statutory Provisions of Factory Act, as well as shall ensure that all statutory provisions as applicable to the plant are strictly followed.

6. Responsible to finalize the Key Result Areas and Key Performance Identity of the subordinate staff for monitoring the performance of each individual appraise the performance report.

7.Responsible to participate and conducting various programs related with Health, Safety and Environment at the plant. To assist and provide the information/documents any notifications related to all the litigation filled by or against the company to the legal head in consultation with the HOD/Plant Head.

8. Responsible to coordinate with the departmental officials for problem solving and smooth operation of the plant to achieve the maximum output. Responsible for Total Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in plant operations, production, or O&M.
• Proven expertise in project management, procurement, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of Factory Act, HSE standards, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in Power, Coal, Mining, or Manufacturing industries preferred.
