This job is a formative career opportunity to define critical product areas to drive on new account growth and monetization and billing strategy. This leader will help establish and grow a team of talented PMs. New Relic is widely recognized as the only observability vendor with a fast-growing PLG motion and a true usage-based pricing model. This role will define aspects of our product onboarding, product-led growth (PLG), billing health and monetization for the platform that engineers at some of the world’s best companies use every day. This role is ideal for a technical product leader who is passionate about tools for engineers and is excited about defining the next generation of observability experiences. You will find this leadership role to have a direct impact like you would in a startup, yet benefit from the safety of a ~$1B business with a clear product-market fit and a very large addressable market. What you'll do You will own product direction for New Relic’s Growth & Monetization teams in partnership with the head of India Engineering. Focus areas include: * The canonical list of problems we’re solving and could be solving for our customers with Observability * A data-driven approach to understanding user journeys and the account growth funnel - finding out what works and opportunities to improve the product experience * The product strategy & roadmap to solve more customer problems, drive greater adoption & usage, monetization, and greater product differentiation * Ship UX that allows power users to go deep and new users to intuitively understand how to get started * Develop and extend the partnerships and marketplace for the New Relic platform * Lead Product Managers on the Growth & Monetization teams This role requires Frameworks to balance technical debt reduction with introducing innovations
Experience leading product management with a passion for people leadership rooted in helping your team do their best work, hiring, and performance mentoring References from partners in Engineering and Design History of getting things done that require cross-functional collaboration and alignment  Prior experience with monitoring tools - as a user or as a builder A love for delightful UX and a keen eye for detail Expertise in making product decisions using data analytics and understanding product usage patterns Previous experience with Product-led growth (PLG) motions, self-serve business and Monetization. 8+ years people management experience desirable + years demonstrated experience in Product Management/Engineering BS/BA degree required in Computer Science or Engineering or applicable work experience
