Job Description

Founded by an eminent Forbes 30 Under 30 - India and Asia personality in 2010 in Delhi, we have invested in another startup and have acquired two organizations till date. THE ROLE:

As a Director of Engineering, you will be working on both our back-end and front-end technologies. To succeed in this position, you will need to be comfortable with - and willing to work across - the entire stack. You will be working with 5-7 people who will be building APIs and working on complex front-end applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You have 8+ years of software engineering experience.

• You have 3 tier architecture knowledge for web-based applications.

• You have a strong conceptual understanding of designing solutions for reuse.

• You are familiar with Agile methodologies, Git workflows, and teamwork.

• You are comfortable with defining OKR's for your team

Language/Framework Requirements -

• Strong computer science fundamentals & deep data structures knowledge.

• Strong coding skills in at least one of the following server-side technologies: Node.js / Python / PHP.

• Experience with modern front-end stacks. Applicable knowledge of frontend technologies: Angular.js / Vue.js with TypeScript.

• Good understanding of scalable systems and distributed computing.

• Experience building large-scale applications based on Microservices architecture.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP).

• Experience with working with relational databases (MySQL) is a must.

• Curiosity in actively collaborating with product management and design, and a passion for solving meaningful problems.

• Understanding the following technologies is good to have: Docker, Kubernetes.
