Director – Engg. programs MPSTME Mumbai Campus –
This is a leadership position that requires a combination of academic prowess and administrative skills, as also networking competencies. The Director will develop programs & shall work in close coordination with the Dean of the School. He/She should understand the emerging trends and opportunities and have creative and innovative bent of mind. Should be technology savvy, an institution builder, motivator, should be able to handle the faculty and academic administration of the school. He/She will look after the student affairs & placement activities. NMIMS is a looking for leaders who can develop and also deliver on the ground.
The incumbent should have a Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology from a reputed University/Institute with at least 15 years of Academic and Administrative experience in the relevant field and similar institutions . Should have strong linkages & network with the industry & academics. Should be well acquainted with the various Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies as well as the procedures. The candidate should be either at a Professor’s level in a premier engineering school / university or Principal of a premier institution.
In case the candidate is from the Industry then he/she should have 15-20 years of experience in the relevant field at senior managerial level or above.
