PRESENTATION OF THE TEAM

The Strategy Enablement & Transformation team defines and drives AXA GBS business and operations strategy in partnership with Executive Leadership team to deliver their strategic business priorities. The team is responsible for:Overarching program leadership for the AXAllence Program Portfolio projects, ensuring all steering, project management and deliverables are effectively achievedDriving execution across all AXAllence projects through thought leadership, project management methods, and ensure deliverables and coordinationLeading strategy development and transformation for GBS, in response to company capabilities, analysing partner needs and the competitive market context.Designing and implementing a strategic portfolio management for AXA GBS including process, method and governanceManaging and tracking the budget and deliverables for all strategic programsEnsuring proper support for the strategic portfolio projects, through existing teams and capabilities

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity to appoint a Manager Strategic Program Delivery at AXA GBS, supporting the Lead Strategic Program Delivery as an integral part of our SE&T team. Working in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment, we are looking for a candidate who feels comfortable and is experienced in working with a wide variety of international stakeholders and senior management. Within this role, proposing pragmatic solutions, and building excellent working relationships will be paramount to enable the successful delivery of the program.

With a proven track record of working on operational and strategic projects delivery of small to medium complexity, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a single project or a work-stream of a larger project. Working closely with the Lead Strategic Program Delivery you will manage critical strategic projects globally to improve current business operations and revise them to achieve the long-term vision. A highly skilled professional you will be responsible for setting a common project management framework for GBS as well as develop and implement the new governance and process.

CONTENT OF THE ROLE

Strategic Planning and Operations

Delivery of key strategic initiatives, undertaking market and business discovery activities to enable formation of strategic recommendations.Bringing thought leadership into the business and manage transformational opportunities.Closely track workstreams and initiatives, documenting performance vs key milestones, ensuring that sponsors and stakeholders are made aware and engaged in issue resolutionImplement scalable operational frameworks, processes, and policies to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across departments.

Project ManagementManaging the adoption and consistent application of project and portfolio management processes and tools, to help track the delivery of the transformation program against KPIsOwning, maintaining, and continuously improving the PMO reporting systems and registersDevelop and improve our approach to program, project and change management in support of the strategic planning cycle for relevant investments for GBSManage process improvement initiatives within the PMO by evaluating existing practices, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and implementing streamlined procedures to optimize project management efficiencyAct as relationship manager with key integral stakeholders and clearly convey project status and issues, constraints, risks, and plans to all audience levels, with an understanding of the impact of problems across the organisation and facilities collaborative solutions
