About the Company A leading Manufacturer & Retailer in the GCC , known for its innovation, premium quality, and strong retail footprint, is seeking a Manager – Internal Control to strengthen its governance and risk framework as part of its continued regional expansion and IPO readiness journey.This is a strategic and hands-on role for a detail-oriented professional who can design, implement, and monitor internal controls that ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.Role SummaryThe Internal Control Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust control environment across all key functions — manufacturing, retail, supply chain, finance, and IT.The role focuses on ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards , strengthening internal control systems , and supporting audit and risk management functions in coordination with senior management and external auditors.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and continuously enhance internal control frameworks , including SOPs, policies, and Delegation of Authority (DoA) .Conduct periodic internal control reviews to evaluate the design and effectiveness of processes and controls across departments.Identify and assess risks across operational and financial processes, and coordinate with relevant teams to implement mitigation plans .Work closely with the CFO, Internal Audit, and Risk teams to ensure proper control execution and timely closure of audit findings.Support compliance with CMA regulations , Corporate Laws , and governance requirements for potential IPO or investor due diligence.Develop control testing methodologies, risk registers, and monitoring dashboards in line with SOX / COSO standards.Promote a culture of control awareness through communication, training, and periodic control self-assessments.Report key findings, control deficiencies, and improvement initiatives to management and recommend corrective actions.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Certifications: CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent (preferred).Experience: 8–12 years in Internal Control, Audit, or Risk Management , preferably within the retail, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors .Strong understanding of governance frameworks, CMA/IPO compliance, and risk management practices .Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and fast-growing GCC retail brand preparing for future expansion and IPO.Lead internal control excellence initiatives across multi-country operations.Gain exposure to regional governance frameworks and work directly with senior leadership.
