Job Title: Director of Medical Tourism Operations


**Job Summary:

The Director of Medical Tourism Operations will lead and oversee all aspects of our medical tourism services, ensuring seamless integration of healthcare and hospitality. The role requires expertise in managing relationships with international clients, healthcare providers, and travel partners, while maintaining the highest standards of care and customer service. The ideal candidate will have exposure to one or multiple medical specialties, such as Cardiac Care, Orthopedic Procedures, Cosmetic Surgery, Oncology, Bariatric Surgery, or Fertility Treatments, and bring a deep understanding of both Healthcare and Medical Tourism industries.


**Key Responsibilities:


1. **Strategic Leadership:**

  - Design and execute business strategies to expand and enhance the company’s medical tourism offerings.

  - Analyze global trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the medical tourism market.

  - Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and travel agencies across key specialties.


2. **Operational Excellence:**

  - Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient coordination of patient travel, accommodation, and medical procedures.

  - Ensure compliance with international healthcare standards and legal regulations.

  - Collaborate with hospitals and specialists in the specific medical fields of expertise to provide best-in-class patient care.


3. **Client Experience & Relationship Management:**

  - Serve as the senior contact for international patients, providing personalized guidance throughout their medical journey.

  - Develop a client-first approach to ensure satisfaction from the first inquiry to post-treatment follow-up.

  - Handle escalations and feedback, implementing solutions to improve patient outcomes and experiences.


4. **Business Development & Marketing:**

  - Drive global marketing efforts to raise awareness and attract clients within the identified specialties (Cardiac Care, Oncology, Orthopedic Procedures, etc.).

  - Represent the company at international conferences and industry forums.

  - Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional content tailored to the specialized treatments offered.


5. **Financial & Resource Management:**

  - Develop and manage the annual department budget, ensuring financial health.

  - Monitor billing processes, ensuring transparency and timely payments.

  - Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures while maintaining service excellence.


6. **Team Leadership & Development:**

  - Lead and mentor a team of medical tourism coordinators and support staff.

  - Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that aligns with the company’s mission to deliver exceptional care.

  - Conduct performance evaluations, offering professional development opportunities.


**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or Medical Tourism, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.

- Exposure to one or multiple specialties: **Cardiac Care, Orthopedic Procedures, Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, Oncology, Bariatric Surgery, Fertility Treatments (IVF)**.

- Strong knowledge of international healthcare regulations and medical tourism best practices.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
