Role Overview:


The Social Media Manager will oversee SportVot’s social media presence, including managing:

- 3 Instagram pages

- 1 YouTube channel

- 1 Facebook page

- Multiple WhatsApp communities

Additionally, this role includes coordinating on-ground activities and creating content aligned with SportVot’s defined content IPs (brackets of content).

Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, follower growth, and engagement across all platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp communities).

- Create and curate content for SportVot’s content IPs (distinct brackets of content) to maintain consistency and showcase various sports events and stories.

- Coordinate on-ground activities and events that engage the local sports community and provide unique content opportunities for social media.

- Grow follower base using proven social media growth techniques such as hashtag optimization, influencer collaboration, and content promotion.

- Analyze performance metrics to track growth, engagement, and other KPIs; adjust strategies based on insights.

- Manage day-to-day social media operations, including content scheduling, community engagement, and responses.

- Collaborate with the marketing and on-ground teams to ensure seamless content creation and event coverage.

- Stay updated on trends and best practices to implement innovative tactics for boosting social media presence and engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:


- Knowledge of key social media platforms, particularly Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

- Familiarity with content creation strategies and tools to maximize reach and engagement.

- Strong understanding of on-ground event coordination and how to leverage it for social media content.

- Ability to create engaging content that aligns with SportVot’s content IPs and drives interaction.

- Basic knowledge of analytics tools like Instagram Insights, YouTube Analytics, and Facebook Insights.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Passion for sports and understanding of the sports community is a plus.
