About the Role
A Product Marketer will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies to drive the adoption and success of the company's software products. This role involves a deep understanding of the product, target audience, and market trends, along with the ability to create compelling messaging and campaigns that resonate with potential customers.
As a product marketer, you will act as a critical connection point between product, sales, marketing, customer and business development teams. In this role, you will influence go-to-market strategy, including helping to identify market opportunities, influence product strategy, lead pipeline development, and support revenue generation.
Job Responsibilities:
Product Messaging and marketing through education around Application Integration and data engineering
Should be comfortable being in front of a camera for Webinar, Video etc to educate our customers on our product
Performing market, customer and competitive research to segment the market and produce buyer insights, identifying what opportunities, challenges and dynamics exist for the organization and its products
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings to inform marketing strategies.
Develop clear and differentiated product positioning that highlights the unique value of the software products.
Guiding, creating and delivering differentiated messaging and buyer personas to impact the development of compelling content to communicate value and convert leads
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create go-to-market plans for new product launches, feature updates and generation demand.
Define target customer segments, value proposition, pricing strategy, and distribution channels.
Create a wide range of marketing collateral, including product brochures, data sheets, whitepapers, blog posts, and videos.
Develop sales tools, presentations, and training materials to empower the sales team with product knowledge and value propositions.
Enabling sales, indirect channels and strategic partners
Collaborate with the demand generation team to plan and execute marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive customer engagement.
Gather customer feedback and insights through surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
Translate customer feedback into actionable recommendations for product improvements and marketing strategies.
Use data and analytics to track campaign performance, ROI, and other relevant metrics.
Supporting account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives
Fostering growth through customer advocacy
Skills and Qualifications:
MBA in specialization in Strategy or Marketing or Technology, or bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Prefer prior experience in Technology consulting
Ability to provide examples of go-to-market strategies and programs for prior roles in enterprise technology or service providers, with the corresponding impact to revenue contribution
Must be able to determine when to probe for additional information and when to push forward
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Has, ideally, a good eye for evaluating creative design options that will resonate with target buyers
Open to experimenting with new approaches, testing hypothesis and establishing KPIs that can help determine effectiveness
Able to balance innovation against known and effective approaches
Natural inclination to measurement
Ability to identify signals and measures that can be incorporated into KPIs
Ability to analyze and interpret disparate datasets to derive insights
Intuition to challenge conclusions based solely on data patterns
Willingness to change direction based on results illustrated through analytics
Fortitude to acknowledge mistakes unearthed through measures, and ability to pivot rapidly to adjust
Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
Ability to drive development and consensus on technology investment goals
Ability to guide the selection, purchase, implementation and support of marketing technologies
Ability to develop and deliver business cases for technology purchases
Project planning and management
Build relationships with functions outside of product marketing, including corporate communications, demand generation, product management, engineering, sales, customer success, services and IT
Must have Budgeting experience
Mentoring and resource development skills to recruit and professionally develop team members
Experience in selecting and managing external resources
Ability to manage upward in the organization to influence executives, as well as to manage downward
Consensus builder and decisive decision maker
Persuasive influencer, with the ability to build enthusiasm for new plans
