Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in engineering services sales to drive growth and generate new business opportunities in
North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in selling our specialized engineering services such as Design, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), BIM (Building Information Modeling), Rebar Detailing, and Structural Steel Detailing to clients such as architects, engineering consultants, general contractors, fabricators, and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand our presence in North America, Europe, Australia, and NZ.
Identify, target, and engage prospective clients through market research, outbound outreach, referrals, and industry events.
Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions involving our engineering design and detailing services.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to clients across regions.
Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and opportunity development to contract negotiation and closing.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) ecosystem.
Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure accurate project scoping and seamless project delivery.
Manage and update CRM system with accurate sales data, forecasts, and activity reports, and meet KPIs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with MBA in Marketing preferred.
5+ years of experience in selling engineering or technical services (Design, BIM, MEP, Rebar, Structural Steel) in international markets.
Strong network in one or more target regions (US, Canada, UK, EU countries, Australia, NZ).
Knowledge of international construction standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, AS/NZS, etc).
Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently across time zones.
Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or Navisworks (a plus).
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, expos, or events.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
Technical knowledge or certification in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Navisworks, or similar tools.
Experience working with international clients (e.g., US, UK, GCC).
Background in engineering or construction project delivery.
