Your role
Are you passionate and self-driven information technology (IT) expert, who loves to troubleshoot, resolve software and system issues ? Are you driven to ensure systems and applications meet apany's quality standards? Have you managed smooth operations of critical systems and software applications in Production environment ?
We're looking for an IT Production Support Engineer to:
• support the ongoing operations of it systems and applications
• coordinate with the business users and it teams regarding reported incidents
• diagnose, identify and execute steps in order to resolve the reported issues
• create, maintain and up-keep of the system documentation and routine operational procedures
• monitor infrastructure alerts and respond to the reported anomalies
• rmending and implementing solutions to resolve repeated incidents / issues
• taking ownership and resolving the open support tickets while adhering to the defined slas
• identifying and implementing automation opportunities to ensure success
Your team
We are supportive for our employees to work flexible working hours and to work part-time as well as working remotely from home.
You'll be working in the Asset Management Technology Managing Clients & Insights crew in Pune.
We are an international distributed team, based in Switzerland and Pune/India working for UBS Asset Management.
We drive the technology change and support the global expansion of our business units platforms which gives you a chance to look not only into the IT value and development chain, but as well gain domain knowledge, how to run IT as a business, state of the art technology and working in a fast-paced environment with vast diversity.
Your expertise
• 5-7 years of experience as a production support engineer (level 3) within the financial sector
• expertise with supporting ongoing day to day operations of large systems and application with geographically distributed user base
• good understanding of web based application development, deployment and hosting with iis server
• proficiency with scripting language like powershell, rest api and batch processing concepts, programming languages like js, c#, t-sql.
• proficiency with databases and database programming using sql server
• good understanding of azure cloud services including iaas, paas and saas services and networking concepts, version control tool like gitlab and ci/cd process & incident and problem management process
• good problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to break down the problems and identify resolution steps
• hands on experiences in all stages of it projects inplex and demanding environments, broad knowledge of front-to-back banking processes
• ability to partner with other it and business teams in the context of issue resolution.fortable working in a team with diverse backgrounds and cultures in a distributed team environment.
