Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a technology startup, in their search for a Head of Sales in Noida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of enterprise sales targets, focusing on acquiring new clients and growing existing accounts.
  • Develop and implement an annual sales strategy covering prospecting, upselling, and expanding key relationships.
  • Close large-scale enterprise deals in the ₹50L - ₹2Cr range across BFSI and other industries.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of 8-10 sales professionals, ensuring they consistently exceed their quotas.
  • Establish structured deal prioritization models, enhance pipeline efficiency, and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Design and implement scalable sales processes, qualification frameworks, and structured coaching methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including leadership, marketing, product, and operations—to drive seamless execution.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train top sales talent while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Ideal Profile

  • 12+ years of demonstrated success in enterprise B2B sales, with a history of consistently surpassing revenue goals.
  • Expertise in complex enterprise sales cycles, with a strong ability to acquire, close, and expand high-value deals (₹50L+ per contract).
  • Deep knowledge of the Indian enterprise ecosystem, particularly within the BFSI sector, alongside experience in non-BFSI industries.
  • Hands-on experience in selling tech + operations-driven solutions, with proficiency in consultative and value-based selling.
  • At least 4 years in a leadership capacity, successfully managing and scaling high-performance sales teams.
  • Strong analytical approach to sales, with the ability to track input/output metrics and optimize processes for better efficiency.
  • A data-first mindset for deal assessment, pipeline management, and performance enhancement.
  • Proven ability to build and implement structured sales methodologies, playbooks, and repeatable execution strategies.
  • Experience in hiring, training, and developing sales talent, ensuring ongoing capability enhancement.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, thriving in fast-moving, high-growth environments while effectively handling ambiguity and risk.
