Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to create and manage budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring and reporting on variances. General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments. Cost Analysis: Analyze project expenses, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities within construction projects. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee timely accounts payable and receivable processes. Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry-specific financial regulations and standards, staying updated on accounting rules. Financial Audits: Coordinate and support financial audits, providing documentation and explanations to auditors. Taxation: Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax. Cash Flow Management: Optimize working capital by efficiently managing cash flow and liquidity needs. Financial Analysis: Provide insights through financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). Proven Senior Accountant experience, ideally in construction. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with construction accounting principles and software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint) is advantageous.
