Job Responsibilities:

Provide weekly progress reports to the business regarding timesheet compliance. Extract time log reports from Power BI, collect certifications of time from senior leadership and deliver to accounting for month end financials. Assist managing activities in suspense to drive them to closure. Routinely review projects and determine if they meet the criteria for capitalization. Participate in routine SOX audits related to IDS. Process requests from engineering to update time tracking groups in Jira. Manage and contribute to projects both on-going and recurring as needed, in an effective and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with concentrations in Business or Accounting. 3 years of experience working with accounting/finance auditing, SOX Compliance, or similar work. Understanding of financial and accounting processes. Experience working in a technology related field ideal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel and reports. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with customer service orientation. Self-starter and flexible team player

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Jira and/or Agile Methodologies desirable. Experience in handling IDS (Internally Developed Software) capitalization process is a plus.
