What is the opportunity?


Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant - As an Associate, Finance & Accounts, you will be responsible for recording the transactions and keeping the books of accounts up to date.


Location:
Trivandrum, Kerala.

Experience: 2-3 years

What will you do?

  • Independent charge of bookkeeping for our Global entities, end to end process including.
  • Payroll accounting
  • Accounting of purchase invoice and reconciliation, initiating payments
  • Accounting of credit card transactions and reconciliation
  • Accounting of employee expense claims
  • Accounting and maintenance of Fixed assets
  • Recording payments/receipts and bank reconciliation
  • Prepare & submit weekly/monthly ad hoc reports, including GST reports of different countries.
  • Month end closing of entities assigned for consolidated results which includes accruals, provisioning, depreciation, revaluation of foreign currency balances, and other related adjustments.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Analysing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations
  • Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data
  • Keeping records and documenting financial processes.
  • Any other assignments as given by the Management.

Must have:

  • Graduates/Postgraduates in Commerce/ Accounting with a total of two or more years of relevant experience out of which at least one year in IT sector is desirable.
  • Global accounting and ERP experience would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in month close, AR, AP, and GL close
  • Working knowledge on Accounting Standards & Principles. IFRS knowledge is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Intermediate knowledge in handling excel spreadsheets, Exceptional attention to detail
  • Must have excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Time Management and proactiveness
