Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Network Cabling Design Engineer for our locations in Noida and Bangalore. This position involves expert-level tasks in designing and implementing network cabling systems, ensuring robust and scalable network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will excel in planning and executing cable pathway designs and have extensive experience with AutoCAD and structured cabling systems.
Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for crafting precise and efficient network cable layouts (Mandatory skill). Strong expertise in structured cabling implementations to ensure standardized network reliability (Mandatory skill). Ability to design effective cable pathways that optimize space and cost efficiency (Mandatory skill). Solid experience in reading and interpreting blueprints to align design with architectural considerations. Understanding of network topology concepts to construct coherent and logical network frameworks. Know-how of data center infrastructure to support high-performance connectivity within the data center ecosystem. Experience in LAN/WAN design to facilitate seamless local and wide area network communications. Familiarity with Ethernet technologies to implement versatile and reliable network connections.
Roles and Responsibilities Develop detailed network cabling designs that align with customer specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ascertain requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Supervise installation teams, ensuring adherence to design plans and quality control processes. Update and maintain documentation for cabling systems to support future upgrades and troubleshooting. Conduct site assessments and provide technical guidance to optimize network infrastructure setup. Work closely with IT teams to integrate new technologies into existing cabling structures seamlessly. Test and validate network installations to guarantee maximum reliability and performance of the cabling system. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to innovate and maintain cutting-edge network designs.
