- Assistant Network Engineer Position Assistant Network Engineer Location IIMT College of Engineering Greater Noida Department IT Cell Reports To Head IT Eligible candidate can also apply through email at hr gn iimtindia net Key Responsibilities Assist in installation configuration and maintenance of network devices such as switches Layer 2 3 routers firewalls and wireless access points Support in designing configuring and troubleshooting VLANs PoE switches and network segmentation Monitor and maintain LAN WAN Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity for reliable network performance Provide technical support for firewall policies access lists and security configurations Perform network cabling patch panel management and structured cabling troubleshooting Assist in network security monitoring and support compliance with IT security standards Document network diagrams configurations and inventory for internal records Work closely with senior engineers to implement upgrades migrations and system integrations Required Skills Qualifications Diploma Bachelor s in Computer Science IT Electronics or related field Strong knowledge of o Firewalls basic rule configuration monitoring o Switches Layer 2 3 VLAN PoE o TCP IP DHCP DNS VPN routing switching protocols Familiarity with Windows Linux networking and Active Directory Good troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work under supervision and in team environments Preferred Qualifications Certification in CCNA CompTIA Network Firewall Security Fortinet Palo Alto Cisco ASA Hands-on experience with enterprise switches VLAN design PoE devices and firewall configuration Exposure to network monitoring tools SolarWinds PRTG Nagios etc Job Type Full-time Pay 22 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Networking 3 years Preferred Work Location In person
