Job Summary:

The State Head – Government Banking will be responsible for managing and growing the government banking business within the state of Delhi. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with various government departments, PSUs, urban local bodies, and other related institutions. The incumbent will ensure compliance, drive strategic partnerships, and lead a team to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage government banking operations across Delhi.
  • Build relationships with key government stakeholders and departments.
  • Ensure acquisition and retention of government accounts (state, central, and local bodies).
  • Drive CASA growth and cross-sell bank products to government entities.
  • Monitor compliance with RBI and regulatory guidelines related to government banking.
  • Liaise with internal teams for product development and customized offerings.
  • Lead a team of Relationship Managers and support staff to achieve targets.
