Job Title: Project Manager

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in infrastructure technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans to guide the execution.
- Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and priorities.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners as needed to procure resources, equipment, and services for project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance project delivery capabilities.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in infrastructure or technology-related projects.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and concepts, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving project success.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technology domains.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices.
- Previous experience in the (industry/sector) sector or related industries.
