As Vice President of Professional Services, you will lead Duck Creek's regional Professional Services strategy, building a customer-centric team and ensuring world-class delivery of our InsurTech solutions. By fostering strong client relationships, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and driving operational excellence, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the region while enhancing customer success.
This role demands strategic vision, exceptional leadership, and deep industry expertise to drive service revenue, strengthen customer satisfaction, and position Duck Creek as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Strategic Development
- Provide visionary leadership, setting clear priorities and direction for the regional Professional Services team.- Build and mentor a high-performing, customer-focused team capable of translating market strategies into meaningful business outcomes.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful project delivery.- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, to identify market trends and opportunities.- Stay abreast of Duck Creek’s technology, products, and services to position the organization as a thought leader in InsurTech.- Develop and implement a regional strategy aligned with Duck Creek’s global objectives.
2. Professional Services Practice Management
- Oversee the Professional Services practice, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.- Manage resource allocation, set performance goals, and conduct regular reviews to ensure excellence in team execution.- Partner with Sales Directors and Solution Architects to create and deliver tailored Professional Services solutions, driving revenue growth.- Regularly engage with customers, project leaders, and partners to ensure satisfaction and alignment with business goals.- Collaborate with Engagement Leads to monitor and achieve on-time, on-budget project delivery across assigned accounts.- Contribute to the evolution of the Professional Services practice by defining strategies, refining processes, and enhancing offerings.
3. Customer Success & Business Insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, proactively identifying opportunities for additional services and value creation.- Ensure exceptional customer experiences through a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.- Provide regular performance insights, industry trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.- Develop intellectual property and best practices to strengthen the Professional Services practice and align with strategic goals.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.- Experience:- 23–25 years of professional experience, with at least 12 years in leadership roles within a Professional Services environment.- Proven experience delivering large-scale SaaS or packaged software implementations, ideally within the P&C insurance space.- Strong background in managing multiple customer accounts and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and managing diverse teams while holding them accountable for performance.- Strategic Insight: Ability to identify growth opportunities, drive business improvement, and deliver high-impact results.- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of SaaS solutions and packaged software delivery models.- Soft Skills:- Superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Exceptional organizational and team-building abilities.- Proficiency in customer expectation management and scope management.- Adaptability: Flexible and solutions-driven, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and demands.
