
Tendering Specialist

Role Overview:
The Tendering Specialist will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting tenders for infrastructure projects (roads, highways, bridges, urban development, etc.). The role requires a strong understanding of contract conditions, pricing strategies, government portals (like CPPP, IREPS, state e-procurement), and compliance with tender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Identification & Evaluation
• Track government and private e-procurement portals daily for relevant tenders.
• Evaluate eligibility criteria, scope of work, and risks before participating.
• Prepare tender synopsis and present feasibility reports to management.
2. Tender Preparation & Submission
• Coordinate with estimation, design, finance, and legal teams for inputs.
• Compile technical & financial bids as per client requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of bids (online/offline) with complete documentation.
3. Cost Estimation & Pricing
• Work with the estimation team to prepare competitive pricing.
• Analyze BOQ, material, manpower, and subcontracting requirements.
• Recommend pricing strategies based on competitor analysis.
4. Liaison & Coordination
• Coordinate with government bodies, consultants, and clients for clarifications.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client interactions.
• Follow-up on tender results and maintain relationships with authorities.
5. Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain updated vendor registrations, certificates, and statutory compliances.
• Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and technical documentation in tenders.
• Maintain tender MIS reports, success ratios, and competitor insights.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Business Administration.
• 5–8 years' experience in tendering/contracts in infrastructure/construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of EPC, PPP, BOT tendering models.
• Proficiency in government e-procurement portals (CPPP, IREPS, GEM, etc.).
• Excellent MS Excel, MS Project, and documentation skills.
