Position Overview:  We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our sales efforts in the Sustainability Technology sector. The ideal candidate should have 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in sales, with a proven track record in achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, and fostering strategic partnerships in the sustainability technology sector, particularly focused on Commodity, Food, and Export Supply Chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the Sustainability Technology sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate executives, sustainability officers, and decision-makers in target industries.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive threats to adjust strategies accordingly and stay ahead in the market.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving sales goals.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and negotiating contracts
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to prospective clients that effectively communicate the value of our Sustainability solutions.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasts to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Good to have existing network or connections within your domain /Industry area

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience, with at least 7 to 8 years in a leadership role within the technology or sustainability industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a complex, solution-selling environment.
  • Deep understanding of sustainability challenges, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute actionable sales plans that align with organizational objectives.
