As a API Management and DevOps, you will:
  • Support the development team in designing and implementing APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Collaborate with development teams to define API specifications and requirements.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful services and integrate APIs with various enterprise applications.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of APIs through monitoring and optimization.
  • Implement security best practices for APIs, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
  • Establish API governance policies and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for API and DevOps-related issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management, DevOps, and cloud computing.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in API management, with at least 3 years working with Azure API Management.
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Strong understanding of API security frameworks and protocols.
  • Proficient in API design and development using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build automation.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand integration and DevOps requirements.
  • Translate integration and DevOps requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for development teams on API management and DevOps practices.
  • Continuously improve API performance, scalability, and security, as well as CI/CD pipeline efficiency.
