Description:


• Design, implement, and optimizing DevOps strategy to streamline software delivery and ensure high availability of applications. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment between development and operations teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and driving innovation in our DevOps practices.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Architect or a related role.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Azure services (App Service, Service Bus, Azure AD, API Management, Monitor, Application Insights).
• Experience with configuration management tools and scripting languages (PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Familiarity with converting classic Azure DevOps pipelines to YAML (a plus).
• Experience implementing monitoring solutions with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Experience in designing and implementing static code analysis tools such as SonarQube
• Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools and hands-on experience of setting up APM tools from scratch
• Experience with cloud security best practices within Azure.
• Experienced in Github
• Experience in a .NET/C# development environment.
• Experience with Site Reliability engineering activities such as performance monitoring, error budgeting, Capacity planning, alerting, SLO/SLI/SLA ..etc
• Experience with code instrumentation in conjunction with performance testing/tuning/engineering
• Experience with B/G deployments, synthetic monitoring and RUM.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Architect and automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Integrate and configure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices for a secure and maintainable infrastructure.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, with a plan to integrate a general observability tool like Datadog.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
• Experience in converting classic Azure DevOps pipelines to YAML for improved efficiency and version control.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement scripts using PowerShell to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and tools.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the DevOps team.
• Implement SRE concepts including Datadog as the one stop shop for Observability across all tiers of applications
