Job Description
An operations executive ensures daily business functions run smoothly by coordinating between departments, managing processes, and resolving issues, aligning with the company's goals. Key responsibilities include process monitoring, data reporting, vendor and client coordination, and operational audits. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and a proactive approach, are essential for this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Management:
Oversee and improve day-to-day business operations, ensuring workflows are efficient and align with company objectives.
Data & Reporting:
Compile and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly data to generate reports that aid in performance analysis and decision-making.
Coordination:
Serve as a central point of communication between vendors, clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and service delivery.
Operations Oversight:
Monitor and coordinate various operational aspects, such as inventory levels, supply chain logistics, or specialized compliance activities, depending on the startup's industry.
Problem-Solving:
Identify operational issues, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Team Support:
Assist operational departments with task allocation, schedule coordination, and ensuring timely deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Graduation in any discipline
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve processes.
Organizational & Time Management:
Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Problem-Solving:
A proactive mindset and a strong ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with document management or task management tools is beneficial.
Meticulous & Proactive:
An enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual eager to learn and contribute.
Team Player:
Able to work effectively and collaboratively with different departments and team members.
Adaptable:
Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment where roles can be varied.
