You support our team as
Head/Associate General Manager – Production (F/M/D)
Responsibilities
- Accountability and duty
- Understand specialty lubricant manufacturing technology to enhance efficiency and performance KPIs.
- Coordinate, set up, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all production operations.
- Ensure process discipline and monitor production processes for optimal output and efficiency.
- Analyze and improve productivity of production resources continuously.
- Optimize resource utilization through effective production organization.
- Ensure effective documentation and reporting of production activities.
- Achieve operational excellence by implementing and sustaining quality management systems such as: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO Environment), OSHA Occupational Health & Safety), Lean Sigma, 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Implement and ensure compliance with global manufacturing standards and process controls.
- Ensure complete compliance with GMS (Global Manufacturing Standards).
- Responsible for process quality and safety.
- Efficiently manage operations to meet production targets with a strong customer focus.
- Continuously strive to improve performance standards through efficient resource utilization.
- Responsible for shop floor safety, continuous improvement, and cost KPI management.
- Track and review competencies of subordinates and provide the necessary leadership and development to achieve the objectives.
- Provide leadership and development support to achieve team objectives.
- Ensure alignment of team members with Freudenberg Ethics Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Promote safe working practices and safe travel modes.
- Implement corporate HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) strategy and ensure full compliance.
- Ensure product labeling and implementation of GHS (Globally Harmonized System) labels across business groups.
- Responsible for aerosol and third-party manufacturing execution and compliance.
- Proficient in working with SAP and PCS7 systems.
- Experienced in complaint investigation, 8D methodology, and process audits.
- Capable of working effectively with multicultural teams.
- Responsible for product relocation and domestication.
- Special Assignments
- The jobholder may be given special assignments depending on the situation and necessity in consultation with the Reporting Manager. Special assignments give the jobholder the chance to make use of his possibilities and capabilities.
Qualifications
- A graduate Chemical Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience preferably with an MBA degree from reputed institutes. Manufacturing experience in a similar position, in any medium sized professionally managed chemical Process Industry is preferred.
