- Lead and supervise R&D engineers, scientists, and technical staff.
- Plan, prioritize, and monitor multiple projects to ensure timely completion.
- Allocate resources effectively and manage budgets for R&D activities.
- Oversee the design, testing, and validation of new products, materials, or processes.
- Ensure technical feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Support prototyping, pilot production, and scaling of new technologies.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Work with external partners, universities, and research institutions where relevant.
- Provide technical guidance for business development and customer engagement.
- Maintain detailed records of research findings, patents, and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and intellectual property policies.
- Contribute to patent applications and intellectual property protection strategies.
