Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing and collections.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial policies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Prepare and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Taxation: Assist with tax preparation, filing, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the EdTech or technology sector.
  • Financial skills: Petty cash, Reimbursement, Reconciliation, Auditing, Account Receivable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and dashboard skills are essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity and ethical standards in handling financial information.

Compensation: Upto 7 LPA

Location: Work from Office

Timings: General Morning Shift - 11 am to 8 pm - Monday to Friday

(With flexibility of WFH on Saturdays - depending on need)
